On My Return From Heaven
My childish wish is still kept afresh
Among the million children as I race
To make a ladder so tall and strong
To reach the sky before it's too long
I'll roam there by its length and breadth
And stay for days together away from earth
Everyday there I will rise with the morn
And shine so brightly with the rising sun
At night I must very patiently wait
Until the moon walks out in a jovial state
And stars bloom around to welcome her
While the night stays awake to calm her fear
Today to tomorrow the time may sway
But I won't feel even the change of a day
As in the tapestry of the blue dreams I weave
And assuage the hearts that forever grieve
On my return from heaven with glittering flowers
Which I pluck often in my blissful hours
So here they'll forever very brightly shine
And bless the mortals ever to stay on cloud nine
All through bliss and bane, their weal and woe
They'll hopefully live and so meaningfully grow.
